This Refund & Cancellation Policy describes the terms under which RentKro
(“we”, “our”, “us”) handles payment-related issues, including subscription
cancellations, refund eligibility, and exceptions. By using the RentKro
platform or making any payment, you agree to the terms outlined here.
1. Overview
RentKro is a digital platform that enables property owners, managers, and
tenants to connect for rental services. We operate on a **subscription-based
and service-fee model**, and the payments made on the platform are for digital
services such as:
- Property listing plans (Free, Basic, Premium, or Custom)
- Tenant management and rent management tools
- Smart app features and in-app purchases
- Promoted or featured listings
2. Cancellation Policy

Users may cancel a subscription or plan anytime from their RentKro dashboard
under the billing or account settings section.

Cancellations made **before the activation of a service** or **within 24 hours
of payment (if not used)** may qualify for a refund as per the terms below.

Once a plan is activated and property listings, leads, or smart features have
been used, the cancellation will not qualify for a refund.

For recurring subscriptions, users must cancel at least **48 hours before the
next billing date** to avoid automatic renewal.
3. Refund Policy
Refunds are only applicable in certain verified cases. RentKro ensures
transparency and fairness, but since the services are digital and instantly
accessible, refunds are **limited to specific conditions** as mentioned below:
A. Refund Eligibility

Refunds will be processed only if the user has made a payment but has not yet
availed or activated the service.

If a technical error or duplicate transaction occurs during payment, the user

Refunds may be approved if a listing or service was not activated due to a
verified system error from RentKro’s side.
B. Non-Refundable Payments

Payments made for services already activated or consumed, such as listing
views, leads, or promotions, are **non-refundable**.

One-time setup charges, verification fees, or promotional upgrades are not
eligible for refunds.

Subscriptions that have expired or been used for tenant management cannot be
refunded.
C. Refund Process

Refund requests must be sent to

with transaction details, payment ID, and reason for request.

Approved refunds will be credited back to the original payment source within
**7 to 10 working days**, depending on the bank or payment gateway.

Refunds for payments made via UPI, debit/credit card, or wallets will follow
standard bank timelines.
4. Payment Gateway and Transaction Security
All payments on RentKro are securely processed through PCI-DSS-compliant
gateways such as Razorpay or Stripe. We do not store card numbers or bank
credentials on our servers. Users are encouraged to use only authorized payment
methods.
Any unauthorized transaction detected should be reported immediately to both
RentKro and the bank.
5. Refund for Failed Transactions

If your payment was debited but not reflected on RentKro, the transaction will
automatically be reversed by your bank within **5–7 business days**.

6. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes regarding payment or refund will be addressed by our support team.
If unresolved, the matter will be escalated to the finance department.
RentKro’s decision on refund eligibility shall be final and binding.

RentKro reserves the right to modify, amend, or update this Refund &
Cancellation Policy at any time to reflect changes in business practices or
legal requirements. The updated policy will be available on our website.
